Reflect: 2022 Impact

As we look ahead to 2023, the Women in Data team is taking a moment to reflect on all that we've accomplished in 2022. It's been a year full of achievements and successes, and we're excited to celebrate them with all of you. So, let's raise a glass and toast to the amazing things we've achieved together in the past year!

Our Community

In 2022, we welcomed more than 11 new chapters to our global community. Our chapters help our members connect, grow and lead at a local level. We have members in 55 countries. Isn’t that amazing?!

We grew our overall community to 30,000 new and experienced data leaders and data enthusiasts, helping support our mission of increasing diversity in data careers.

 
 

Our Programs

In 2022, we helped more than 900+ members thrive in their careers through our programs and events.

  • 1,000+ classes completed by members

  • 160 members participated in our mentorship program in 2022

  • 80 Life Coaching session this year

  • 150 members participated in Learning Pathways study groups

  • 125 members successfully completed our Portfolio Builder program

  • 26 Data Curiosity learners

  • 184 Datathon participants

  • 80+ events were held across our community in 2022

Our total program participants were over 2,500. Women in Data members continue to learn and grow. Standing alongside of each other to increase diversity in data careers. Thank you for your participation and the impact you have had this year!

Member Success

First I wanted to say how grateful I am for this community! With so much help from my mentors in the last 2 years and wonderful connections I landed my first data science position and became more confident in the field!
